South Florida, It’s Time To Look For Summer Camps
Spring may have just sprung but summer is around the corner. If you have not already secured your summer camp plans for your children now is the time. Camps tend to fill up and have limited availability.
School will be out before you know it, so it is never too early to be prepared.
Here are a few summer camps and showcases you should have your eyes on:
Summer Camp Showcases
There are multiple summer camp showcases coming up in the Palm Beach County/Treasure coast area that you should keep your eye on.
Macaroni Kid of Palm Beach Gardens is hosting a free Summer Camp Expo and Children’s Festival at Downtown Abacoa on Sunday, April 2 from 12-4 p.m. The first 150 kids to sign up here will receive a camp backpack to fill with goodies at the expo.
There will also be a summer camp showcase hosted at the Coastal Dreams Sports Center in Stuart from 12-3 p.m. on Sunday, April 2 for those of you looking for options in the Treasure Coast.
Treasure Coast Junior Lifeguards
Looking to give your child the perfect balance of fun and education this summer? If so, Marine First Responders is hosting the perfect camp for your child.
Treasure Coast Junior Lifeguards camp teaches kids how to minimize risk and maximize safety when they are out on the water. Their program for ages 9-17 includes comprehensive water safety education as well as fun activities like surfing, paddle boarding and beach games.
The camp has two locations in Jensen Beach and Jupiter. As a whole, it costs $400 for a one-week session.

Palm Beach Skate Zone Ice Skating Camp
Looking for a fun activity that can give your child a break from the harsh South Florida summer weather? Palm Beach Skate Zone is the perfect place to cool off.
With camps starting at $345 for a full five-day week and $207 for a three-day week, your child can learn how to skate like a pro while having fun and making friends in the process.
On top of ice time with Palm Beach Skate Zone’s highly specialized instructors, the kids will get to participate in fun off-ice activities such as science experiments, arts & crafts, balloon animals and more.
Palm Beach Skate Zone is located right off the Turnpike on Lake Worth Road, so it is the perfect spot for North Palm Beach and Martin County residents who have a long, Southbound commute.
