Mother’s Day Itinerary: Jupiter, Florida Edition

Feel like spoiling your Mom this year? Well, you came to the right place. Living in Jupiter makes celebrating the ones you love easy… endless dining, outdoor activities, shops, and sights are all available within a 15 minute radius. Starting with a sunrise, let’s see how this Sunday will be the best one yet for the ones who brought us into the world.

  1. Start with a Jupiter Sunrise

What better way to start your Sunday than a beach sunrise? During Spring you can expect the sun to rise at any time around 6:38 am and 6:45 am. The best local spots in Jupiter can be found at the Nature Conservancy at Blowing Rocks, the Juno Beach Pier, or Dubois Park. Grab a blanket, a dozen Jupiter Donuts, and start the day in nature’s beauty.

2. Brunch at our favorite local spots

  • Juno Beach Cafe

  • PapiChulo Tacos

  • Guanabanas

  • Berry Fresh Cafe- locations in Stuart, Jupiter, and Port St. Lucie

  • 1000 North

  • Jupiter Point Bar & Grill

3. Kayak or Paddleboard

Take advantage of the beautiful waterways in Jupiter and rent a kayak or paddleboard for the day! Feel free to pack a lunch or drinks, as there are many sandbars you can easily pull up to for a while and take the sea life, sunshine, and vibes in. Blueline Surf & Paddle, Paddle the Pointe, or Get Up & Go Kayaking all offer a variety of rental options.

4. Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf

Mini Golf is fun for all levels— especially when you are in a tropical oasis at Lighthouse Cove. With two 18-hole courses to choose from and a full restaurant (Burger Shack) and ice cream shop (3 Scoops) to dine at after, it’s truly a hole-in-one for the whole family, Mom included.

5. Visit the Loggerhead Marine Life Center

After brunch at Juno Beach Cafe, or sunrise at the beach, stop by the Loggerhead Marinelife Center to tour the facilities, or attend one of their daily programs that inspire guests of all ages to care for the marine environment and protect our oceans. Be sure to visit their new outdoor ecosystems teeming with sharks, rays, and other marine life.

6. Tour the Jupiter Lighthouse

Even if you’ve toured the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse before, the view at the top of the 1860 landmark never disappoints. Open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday, there is a sufficient window of time for you to take in the natural beauty of this beautiful town. Treat Mom to the gift shop afterward, stocked with nautical gifts and jewelry supplied by local vendors.

Whatever you end up doing on Mother’s Day, living in Jupiter makes home always seem like a vacation, and for that, we can all be lucky.
