Top 5 Best Happy Hours in Jupiter, Florida
I find myself in the homestretch right now just itching to reach the 25th of December… The more anticipation I have, the slower life seems to pass me. However, we are in the in-between time as college students rush home, family comes to visit, and of course, northerners come down to flee the oncoming frigid weather. Where does one go to take a visitor for a drink or small bite? Look below to check out our local best happy hours.
Calaveras Cantina (M-F, 4-7 pm)
Calaveras’ signature margaritas have to be some of my all-time favorites. With muddled fruit, fresh-squeezed juice, and the finest of tequila, they never disappoint. Pair their selection of reduced-rate drinks with some of their small plates or bites as you take in the view of the Jupiter Intracoastal at Harbourside. Feel free to call ahead for a reservation to skip the sometimes lengthy wait time.
2. Lucky Shuck (M-F, 4-6 pm)
Love Street’s Lucky Shuck offers a full menu of food and drink offered at the bar only. Tuna tacos, oysters, and a whole list of appetizers for half price. The “Jup Julep” caught my eye with its mixture of Bourbon, pineapple rum, pedro ximenez sherry, lime, mint, vanilla cherry bark… Their five signature cocktails are so exotic, the drink itself is an experience to be had on top of the world-class views.
3. Topside at the Beacon (M-F, 3-5 pm)
Right next to Lucky Shuck you will find the Topside at the Beacon which is on the second level of the Beacon on Love Street. Find a table or sit at the bar with panoramic views of the Jupiter Lighthouse and inlet as you sip on their delectable spirits, cocktails, $5 drafts, and $7 glasses of wine. Topside’s Tuna Tartare Cones and Filet Mignon Anticucho make the perfect plates to share with your date and are guaranteed to wow any visitor.
4. Stage Kitchen & Bar (M-F, 4-6 pm)
In Palm Beach Gardens you will find one of the most interesting menus at Stage… their fusion of flavors and culinary innovation sparks curiosity on all pallets. Before diving into their food menu, start your experience off at their bar where everything is half-priced. You simply can’t go wrong with my favorite drink of choice: Palm Beach Problems. Glendalough pink gin, fresh watermelon, apple & grapefruit juices, rosemary & ginger combine to create magic in every sip. Their cocktail menu is a must-try for happy hour.
5. Hog Snappers Shack & Sushi (all 7 days, 3-5:30 pm)
The ultimate place to stop after a day out on the water; casual, delicious & a killer happy hour menu defines Hog Snappers. Their prices are lower than other mentioned restaurants with the majority of their menu being around $6 including drinks and sushi rolls. Located right in the Village of Tequesta, Hog Snappers is a hot spot for all locals; be aware that they don’t take reservations so plan accordingly.
